Lighting design

Light the whole home, placed on the plan for you.

Ontron lays downlights, cove and magnetic track across the floor plan to a real lighting design — spacing, layers, beam angle and tunable CCT — counts every fixture, and shows the room lit on the TV. Your staff nudge one, Ontron recounts.

In short
What it does: Ontron auto-places downlights, cove and track across the floor plan to a real lighting design, counts every fixture, and shows the room lit on the TV. Why it matters: a proper layout — spacing, layers, beam angle and CCT — in minutes instead of a consultant's day. What stays yours: your fixtures and prices; staff adjust the layout and Ontron recounts live.
How a lighting plan is made

Placed, adjusted, counted — on one plan.

Ontron places the lights

A real design, not a dot grid

Layers, spacing and CCT — the way a designer would.

Ontron doesn't just scatter downlights. It designs in layers — ambient on a proper spacing grid, accent on track and spots, cove for wash, task where it's needed — and sets the colour temperature per layer, warm to cool. Tunable fixtures carry the CCT through to the scenes.

The fixture schedule & quote

Every fixture counted, computed from the plan.

The layout becomes a priced fixture schedule in your branding — downlights, cove strip, track and spots, drivers and power, wiring and install. Your catalogue sets the prices; nothing is estimated by the AI.

  • →Fixture counts and drivers come from the layout, not a guess.
  • →Change a layer or CCT and the whole schedule recalculates.
  • →Branded PDF on the TV in minutes, sent on WhatsApp.
Every assumed figure is flagged, not hidden — so you can defend the quote.

Questions lighting sellers ask

Lighting on Ontron, answered.

How does it decide where the lights go?
Ontron places downlights on a real spacing grid derived from the room's dimensions and ceiling, then adds cove and track where the design calls for it. Your staff adjust, and it recounts.
Does it do tunable / circadian CCT?
Yes. Set the colour temperature per layer, warm to cool (2700K–6500K). Tunable fixtures carry the CCT through to the scenes.
Does it count fixtures and drivers?
Yes — fixture counts, drivers, power and wiring come from the layout and are priced from your catalogue, not estimated.
Can the customer see the room lit?
Yes — the render shows the room with the lighting on, right on the showroom TV.
Can I override the layout?
Always. Nudge, add or remove any fixture; the schedule and the quote update live.
